1940s utility glass cabinet

£425.00
sold out

A utility glass cabinet from the 1940s

Made largely from oak and oak veneer, this piece offers plenty of storage with its two spacious compartments and display shelves. It comprises two sections which can be separated for transporting.

The top section has two sliding glass doors, and two removable shelves. Please note the top shelf has a slight bow which makes it a little wobbly – however, this could easily be stabilised by propping something between the shelf and the bracket.

The bottom section has a mahogany top, with two oak-panelled doors (lockable with key) and two removable shelves.

In vintage condition, there are a few age-related marks on the wood and glass (see all photos). It has been carefully stripped, cleaned and refinished to bring out the beautiful oak grain while retaining its original charm.

Dimensions:

Full height: 206cm

Top:

  • 106cm W

  • 33cm D

  • 102cm H

Bottom:

  • 106cm W

  • 48cm D

  • 104cm H
