1930s oak writing bureau
A stylish writing bureau in solid oak, made in c1930.
This lovely piece has a fold-down front for working and three spacious drawers for storage (one of which is lockable).
In good condition, it has been stripped back to bring out the wonderful blonde oak tones and refinished with multiple coats of oil. There is as small mark on the top (see photos).
All drawers run smoothly. The middle drawer has a key and working lock. There is also a key for the top compartment, although the locking mechanism is a little stiff.
